What to expect from us during the ceiling fan installation process?
After discussing what type of fan you’d like installed, we’ll assess the space to see if any further work needs to be done to get power to the required spot and support the weight of the fan.
If there’s not already wiring to the spot, we can thread wires inside the ceiling to avoid any unsightly wires in the room for a cleaner look.
The installation process itself is fast, and we’ll ensure everything is working properly before leaving.
During the whole process, you’ll hardly know we’re there. At least that’s our goal. We’ll be as respectful, clean and quiet as possible.
Do ceiling fans require strata approval?
In New South Wales, replacing an existing light fitting with a combined light and ceiling fan combo doesn’t require approval.
Installing a new fan without any existing fittings are considered to be minor renovations, so you’ll need permission from the owners corporation/strata committee before going ahead with the installation.
If you are in a strata unit, we’ll make sure any work we do complies with your bylaws.
