Meet Eric
With more than 18 years of experience, Eric (known by his friends and family as Erictrician) founded Arconex in 2023 after almost two decades of electrical work and an entrepreneurial itch he finally decided to scratch.
A member of NECA (National Electricians and Communications Association), Eric is a Bronze Master Electrician who is forever furthering his skills in the field. A few of his accreditations, courses and skills include:
Cabling registration from the ACRS
Preferred installers for EV installation from My Energy, Ocular, ABB and Smappee
Industrial automation training including IO confivuring, IO mapping, smart automation and control solutions and SAGE automation
Work safety skills including a working at heights licence, height risk licence (11m boom) first aid and low-voltage certificates

Eric’s partner in business and life, Kayleen does all the behind the scenes work at Arconex. From managing appointments, job requests and marketing to the Inner West community, her background is in interior & graphic design and would love to share tips about the best lighting options for your space. So, Where did the name Arconex come from?
When it comes to lighting, an arc is an electrical discharge between two points and conex just comes from the word “connects”.
The latter has multiple meanings to us as a business. We aim to help you make connections through a new EV charger at home that can help you power your vehicle, beautiful new lighting to elevate your home into an entertaining space or to help install a new Wi-Fi system in your workplace to help you connect with others.
